The “West Wing” is a small renovated barn across the yard from the main property. It’s only available as an addition – we do not let it separately.

It sleeps two in a loft-style bed accessed by a fixed ladder; there is an additional double sofa-bed and a single futon if you need to squeeze in!

Simply furnished, on the right of the entrance there is a slate-lined wet room with shower; beyond that is a small kitchen area, equipped for simple food prep. The main area has a 6-seater table, and beyond that a sitting area with double glass doors looking out to the moor. At the far end, a swing-seat woven from Somerset willow is suspended from the A-frame, opposite a refurbished Danish stove.

Heating is part underfloor; part from a large electric radiator; or of course from the woodburner.

It’s a perfect space for a separate couple or older children – anyone who wants their own space!
